Almost 1,000 South Carolina churches belong to Holiness and Pentecostal Movements, including but not limited to the: Christian and Missionary Alliance, Church of the Nazarene, Fire Baptized Holiness Church, Free Methodist Church, Salvation Army, Assemblies of God, Church of God in Christ, United Pentecostal Church International, Church of God, and International Pentecostal Holiness Church. These movements are dedicated to a wide range of benevolence or compassion ministries, including: disaster relief, health, youth, aging, prison, literacy, and poverty; as well as foreign missions.
